In Loving Memory
Dear Teri and Michael,
Please join me in prayer for the repose of the soul of Frank Gougis and for the healing, strength and courage for his family as they journey on without their beloved husband, father and grandfather.
I received a call from Gloria Walker yesterday that Frank Gougis a longtime member of the St. Agatha Family had made his home going journey to be with God. Frank served as a dedicated hospitality greeter/usher at the 5:30 pm mass on Saturdays. Frank was a devoted Godly servant who very quietly went about doing his God works in and out of the church. He during the year would always support the penny, food, clothing and back to school supply drives by the S.H.A.R.E. Ministry. Never would a Christmas Day Dinner go by that Frank and his family was not there asking "what do you need, do you need anything else, what else can we do?" Frank just a few weeks ago was reaching out to touch and be a blessing for a stranger in need with his usual request "now what else do you need, do you want bags, I have been saving them and have a few for you in the car." He then went to his trunk and brought out these "B zillion plastic bags." Frank will truly be missed by those who knew, loved, respected, served with him and admired and appreciated his Godly manner. Amen.
Thank you.
Prayerfully yours.
Blessings.

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.
Amen.
