Prayer Request from Pam Terry: Please pray for Jessica Norwood

This is from Pam Terry, our friend and choir member. Please keep her friend Jessica lifted up as she grieves the loss of her father who died suddenly just one month ago. Let us pray for the repose of his soul, may he rest in peace. And we pray that his entire family, especially Jessica, be comforted by our Lord's ministering Angels to bring them all courage and peace through this time of mourning and loss. And also for Jessica's work environment to improve. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you and yours, Teri & Michael (see below)

Dear Michael and Teri,
Please ask the Prayer Warriors to pray for my friend Jessica Norwood. On December 8th her dad had a massive heart attack getting on his tractor and died. Jessica lives in LA, her father  was in Kentucky.

Jessica is very sad, grieving,  and feels lost. She has asked for us to pray for her, because she is just to numb to pray at this time. Jessica has a special relationship with our Lord, but she is too empty to call on his help and comfort herself.

I told her our Mighty Prayer Warriors would pray for her to be surrounded by God's love and comfort.

Please also pray that her work situation improves.  It is a very negative environment.  She needs it to change or a new opportunity to come her way.

Thank you for this GREAT ministry.

God bless you,
Pam Terry

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer In Time Of Bereavement

Dearest Jesus, who wept at the death of Your friend
and taught that they who mourn shall be comforted,
grant us the comfort of Your presence in our loss.
Send Your Holy Spirit to direct us
lest we make hasty or foolish decisions.
Send Your Spirit to give us courage
lest through fear we recoil from living.
Send Your Spirit to bring us Your peace
lest bitterness, false guilt, or regret take root in our hearts.

The Lord has given. The Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Amen.

O sweet mother Mary, who knew the sadness of mourning those Your heart loved most,
Jesus, Your Son, and Joseph, Your devoted spouse,
pray for us in our time of loss.
Amen.
