Please send out this prayer request to our Mighty Prayer Warriors:

My dear friend from college Ofelia Finch is having major heart surgery next Tuesday morning  (7 AM) at  Cedars. This is an involved surgery  to remove the LVAD (left ventricular assist device) that was placed 4 years ago due to severe heart damage from Chemotherapy. The doctors at Cedars have only done this procedure once before and that patient did not have the device in as long as my friend. Ofelia (Offy) is my prayer partner and it is truly a miracle that she is alive today!

She & I thank you all for prayers, for being in agreement that this surgery will be successful and that she will once again be able to share her testimony of God's healing powers.

Loving Father, we entrust Ofelia to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, she may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around her. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
