Prayer Request from Teresa Gunther: Needing prayers....

Dear Michael and Teri,   Here I am again asking prayers for two dear friends.    Both of these are very young women who have been dealing with serious medical issues for several years.    Kym has been dealing with ovarian cancer and passed away on Saturday evening.    She had been in hospice care at home with her mother and friends caring for her.   She has fought this cancer battle for several years bravely and with great  faith in her God.   May she finally rest in peace.

Monique is another dear friend who has been dealing with neurological problems and recently had a kidney removed.   She was admitted to Keck Hospital on Thursday and the neurological team is evaluating her condition to determine what is happening now.  I ask our community to hold her up in prayer along with her parents who have been her constant support through all of this.

Michael, we have all been so blessed with this marvelous ministry and are so grateful to both you and Teri.   Good is so good all the time!!!

In Loving Memory
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Monique with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
