This is from René Jacques Hunton. Please join us in keeping her and her whole family lifted in prayer at this time of loss. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you and your families, Teri & Michael. (see below)
Hi Michael and Teri. Just wanted to let you know that my beloved father-in-law, Stanton Hunton Sr., passed away peacefully this morning at 2AM (our time) in Michigan. Although we are grieving our loss we are also relieved that he is no longer suffering. He is reunited with his beloved wife Dorothy at last! This gives us some comfort. Once again, on behalf of the Jacques and Huntons, with much love and appreciation--Thank You and God Bless the Prayer Warriors! Cheers, René HuntonIn Loving Memory
previous request Oct. 30:
Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You forever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. This is from René Jacques Hunton, sister of Marcus Jacques and breast cancer survivor for whom we have prayed and praised God! Thank you for your prayers for her father-in-law and may God bless you and your family, Teri & Michael (see below)Hi Michael and Teri. Please ask the warriors to pray for my father-in-law. He has been visited weekly by hospice for some time now but as of Saturday he has stopped eating. Stanton Hunton Sr. is 96 years old. He has suffered from dementia and stage 4 bone cancer for about 3 years and there is nothing more they can do for him other than to try and lessen his pain with medication. Knowing that the warriors are praying for him will help his family during this time of sadness. Thank you, René Jacques HuntonPrayer for the Sick Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your will and know that whatever You do, You do for the love of us. Amen.
