Praise Report from Irene for Ofelia

This is from Irene. Praise God! And thank you for your prayers. God bless you and your families, Teri & Michael (see below)

Hi Michael, I just home from visiting my friend, Ofelia Finch, at the hospital. As you all recall I asked for prayers last weekend. She had a heart transplant last Saturday (1/17) and had all the tubes taken out today. She's been up walking & eating a regular diet. We are so grateful for everyone's prayers. And ask for continued prayers for her as she recuperates from this major surgery and prayers too for the donors family. We do know that the donor was a 28 year old woman. May she rest in peace. Again, thank you all! God Bless!

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING O God, of Whose mercies there is no number, and of Whose goodness the treasure is infinite; we render thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon us, evermore beseeching Your clemency, that as You grant the petitions of them that ask You, You will never forsake them, but will prepare for the reward to come. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

This is from Irene Jaso. Thank you for keeping her friend Ofelia and family in your prayers, and may God bless you and yours, Teri & Michael (see below)
Michael, Please send out this urgent prayer request to our faithful prayer warriors. Asking for prayers for my college friend, Ofelia,"Offie", Finch, who is in the hospital expecting to have a heart transplant today. She has heart damage from chemo after her second bout with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Also, pray for her husband and daughter, giving them patience as she a has a long recovery ahead. Lastly, pray for the donor and the donors family. Not an easy decision for this family but we are so grateful that their family member will live on inside this special woman of God. Blessings & peace to all, Irene Jaso

Prayer for Healing Lord, look upon Ofelia with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
