May God continue to hold them in His loving hands. Please also keep Joc lifted up for strength and faith in his commitment to these young people and all victims of violent crime. PRAYER FOR HEALING
Merciful God, we remember before you all who are sick this day. Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears. Be with them when they are alone or rejected. Comfort them when
they are discouraged. And touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.
Amen.

Blessing Of Those Working With Young People

Lord Jesus,
You welcomed young people and blessed them,
and reminded us that the Kingdom of Heaven
belongs to those who are the children of God.

Bless + these men and women
who work with young people in our community.
Guide them in their projects,
fill them with patience and love,
and help them to inspire all with who they work.
Let your Spirit of wisdom and understanding be with them
and give them joy and peace in their hearts.

Lord Jesus,
we praise you,
for you are our Lord for ever and ever.

This is from our good friend Joc Maultsby. He has been helping victims of violent crime for a long time now, and it is overwhelming what he sees in a short period of time. Our city, our state, our whole country & the world needs our prayers in this regard. Thank you so much for your prayers and God bless you and your families, Teri & Michael (see below)
 
Hi Michael,
Please add the families of two special children traumatized by terrible gang violence.
One victim who is now 7 years old is visiting with Detectives this morning regarding witnessing the murder of his father. The other child is having surgery this morning to remove a bullet from his head. I am told that this child will be returning home after the surgery.
Please also add a prayer that the Politicians stop cutting benefits to the programs that are trying to help children and families like these in dire need.
