It is with great sadness we tell you that Tony Blankley, for whom we requested prayers some time ago, passed away this weekend. He was beloved by so many and will be greatly missed. Please pray for the repose of his soul, and for the comfort, strength and peace of his family, friends and loved ones. Almighty God, through the death of Your Son on the cross, You have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead You have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead, may those who faithfully believed in You on earth praise You for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Dear Prayer Warriors,
In July, Pamela Fleming requested prayers for her close friend's brother-in-law, Tony Blankley (popular political commentator), who was diagnosed with a very invasive esophageal & stomach cancer. He underwent several months of chemo in an effort to shrink a very large tumor before they could operate. He suffered complications of the chemo, a "leak," which caused a major infection in the hand through he received the treatment. Fortunately, his hand was saved and he finally is able to have the very serious operation early tomorrow morning in Washington D.C. We and Pamela ask that you please keep Tony and his family in your prayers for his successful surgery and complete recovery & healing. May Jesus, the divine physician, heal all of Tony's disease and return him to health, able to give thanks and praise to God our Almighty Father.

Loving Father, we entrust Tony Blankley to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, he may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with you and with those around him . Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
