from Teri...
Dear Prayer Warriors,
I received this message from a friend of mine, Jim Darrell, whose mother, Jean, is seriously ill. Jim and I have worked together on many events over the past few years and he is a great guy and a true believer. Here is what he sent me today:
"They were not able to remove the cancer this morning since it had either spread or there was more there than they had originally anticipated. Either way, she is classified stage 4. Her Dr. will be in tomorrow to discuss her "options". Since Mom is a fighter, she will surely give chemo and whatever else they recommend a try as long as it doesn't affect the quality of life of what time she has left. From what we were told today, she could have up to a year left. We know that with God all things are possible, so for now we are trying our best to stay positive, but the emotions still do seem to get the best of us at times. Thanks again for your prayers!"
Please pray for Jim and his whole family as they deal with this news and whatever the future holds in store for them. Lord, please give all of them the courage and strength to fight and not give up, in Jesus' Name, Amen. We stand in total agreement with Jim that "with God all things are possible." We have experienced God's miracles first hand!
Michael and I thank you so much for your prayers and pray that God blesses you and your families abundantly,
In Christ,
Teri & Michael
Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Jean with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
