My mother in-law Judy took a mild heart attack last week. They found out that she has 2 blockages and recommended that she have bypass surgery. She finally agreed to the operation, which they are doing today. She is very nervous and is not a very religious person as she has explained to me. I told her that we will be praying for her.
Her operation will be at 2pm east coast time. Please keep her in your prayers that the surgery is a success and from this experience she grows closer to God, Our Father, the source of all our strength and healing.

Loving Father, we entrust Judy to Your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, she may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around her. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
