Dorothy and I would once again like to request prayers for our dear "brother" Jim Knecht, his children, wife, and parents.
Jim's health has been declining again and last week he went to sleep and just won't wake up (although if I've understood correctly, somehow this is not a coma per se). He's been given a feeding tube and overall the prognosis is not good. He's only 53.
We have seen Jim battle back from the brink on more than one occasion, and we trust that if God wills it, Jim can return to us again in better health that before.

O God who are the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant to Jim such a consciousness of Your indwelling and surrounding presence that he may permit You to give him health and strength and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
