UPDATE: Urgent Prayer Request for Teri - now in the hospital

Dear Prayer Warriors,

This is an update on my wonderful wife Teri. She was admitted to the hospital after her condition was finally determined. They did confirm with another MRI that she has two side fractures of the ball joint but they found that the head is necrotic, falling apart, and in need replacement. Her doctors are challenged to find the best way to do this since her low blood platelets and liver/spleen condition makes surgery very risky, so please pray for their decisions and any procedures chosen for Teri to be guided by our loving and merciful God, and that she will be able to handle the pain and stress of the surgery, recovery and physical therapy.  Also, please lift Teri up for her strength and courage as this whole ordeal is very scary. May her faith and trust in God be firm and constant, and may she feel the presence of Jesus by her side always.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Please lift up Teri in your prayers. She has been in excruciating pain since her late August fall, (thank you so much for your prayers!) and she finally had a chance to call the doctor to get another pain relieving injection (she had one before the fall but it lost its effectiveness after that). Well, it turns out that she actually had fractured her left hip in the fall, and it has been getting progressively worse. The doctor immediately sent her for an emergency MRI which confirmed the break, and in the morning she goes to Cedars for an emergency surgery to have a screw installed in her hip. Please keep her in your prayers for God's protection during the surgery, no problems with her spleen or liver, and a quick and complete recovery, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon Teri with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon her, may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of her body and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Please keep Teri, my wife, in your prayers for complete healing and recovery from a fall she took while out of town. She fell and hurt herself, smashing her knees, cracking some ribs and her left forehead and eye are terribly bruised. Her doctor is sending her for a CT scan to check for internal bleeding in the brain.
