Michael, could you please ask the Prayer Warriors to include a special prayer request for THIS FRIDAY:
Kerry Chee, a dear friend of several at St. Agatha's, and a Prayer Warrior herself, needs prayers for her FATHER (Choi, nicknamed Toi), who has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and will be undergoing surgery on Friday.
Kerry is a FIRM believer in the power of prayer, and will be bringing her own special, calming spirit to the hospital to be with him. Please pray for her dad, for her mother, Kerry, and all her siblings and family, as they gather around her father, the beloved family patriarch, during and post his surgery.
We ask prayers in faith that he will be healed, that the surgery will be successful, and that in this season of Lent, that a spiritual blessing be bestowed on all of them, drawing them closer as a family, as a result of experiencing this illness. All in God's name.
With prayers, love and thanksgiving for all of our Prayer Warriors this Lenten season,

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
