Urgent Prayer Request for Bernadette Aziz

This is from Lorna Holt, and we thank you for adding her requests to your prayers right away. Thank you so much and God bless you and your families, Teri & Michael (see below)

Here are my prayer requests:
 1.  To please pray for Bernadette Aziz & her family. Bernadette has been on our 
 prayer list after suffering with advanced colon cancer.  She is extremely sick 
 now, but said she has not given up, although the doctors are not giving her 
 hopeful news. She is currently hospitalized and can no longer work. As a result 
 of her illness she has developed an infection, and is very weak. The doctors 
 have apparently stopped administering chemo, but she continues to be in a lot of 
 pain because of the large tumor hurting her back. She will soon have to get 
 hospice care.
 2.  For my friends Joanne & Vivian Lin & their family. They are my high school 
 friends, and we were a very small, close-knit community. Joanne is my little 
 sister from high school (big sister/little sister program). Joanne's twin 
 sister, Jessica Lin, was killed in a tragic car accident a couple of weeks ago. 
 She was in her 5th year of medical school  residency, and would have soon been 
 getting to live with her husband who was finishing a medical research project in 
 another state.

 PRAYER FOR THE SICK
 
 Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our 
 community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may 
 they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close 
 wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May 
 these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in 
 thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed 
 those who believed. Amen.
