Dear Prayer Warriors,
God has taken another one of our elders home. We have sent previous prayer requests for Mary Jahn who is the mother of my childhood friends Julie and her sister Debbie. Mary passed away last night, December 13th. She was in her early 90's and had been suffering with many health issues for several years. She is now in the arms of our Lord, suffering no more. Her funeral will be at St Anastasia's on 12/22, next Wednesday at 10am for those of you who knew her and the family. Please pray for courage, strength, peace and harmony for her grieving family and friends at this time.
Thank you again, Prayer Family. We ask God to bless and protect all of you during this most stressful but beautiful Christmas season.

May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.
