Prayers for the soul of Elson's friend, Peter Corpus

Dear Prayer Warriors -

I would like to ask for your prayers for the repose of the soul of my friend, Peter Corpus, who died two weeks ago at age 51 from a sudden blood clot in the lungs.  He was a fellow community activist, particularly in the Filipino and Asian American communities, and he worked at a nonprofit organization where he was a very hard-working member of the staff. Those who know him and have worked with him will always remember his friendliness, sense of humor, dedication and energy. His memorial service takes place this Friday.  Let perpetual light shine upon him.

Prayer of Solace
May Christ support us all the day long, till the shadows lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and our work is done. Then in his mercy may he give us a safe lodging, and holy rest and peace at the last.

Amen.
