Prayer Request from a friend

Dear Prayer Warriors,

A dear friend of ours has asked us to pray for a family member who tried committing suicide this past weekend. The young woman was hospitalized and is in stable condition. We don't know her specific issues but she obviously needs a lot of prayers.

We ask Our Dear Lord to heal this young woman's physical, mental and spiritual afflictions. Blessed Virgin Mary please wrap her in your mother's loving arms and protect her from all evil. Please show her the way to your Beloved Son. We ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten her path so she will never do this again. We thank God that she was not successful in this horrific act. Please keep her whole family in prayer as they go through this most difficult time of trials.

PRAYER for HEALING THE SPIRIT
Gentle Jesus, with faith in Your healing powers and confidence in Your constant compassion, I ask You to heal a suffering spirit. May their soul find rest in Your comforting love and relief from sorrow and anguish. Relying on Your love, I especially ask Your help in healing their desperate and suicidal urges. I place my trust in Your power to heal their spirit from feelings of hopelessness, unrest, and despair. Amen.
