Prayer Request from Marcus: Thanks from, and prayers for my family

This, too, is from Marcus. Join us in keeping his entire family in your prayers, for his dad's successful cancer treatment, his sister's safe and healthy pregnancy, and traveling graces for her family trip to Michigan. Dear Mike and Teri,    My family would like to thank all our mighty Prayer Warriors and Church family   for their prayers for my dad as well as for my sister, René, brother-in-law Stan   and niece Charlie.    Dad update: He starts radiation treatment later this week.  This has been a   timely process to set up: mom and he had to get a second opinion as the first   radiologist that he consulted did not have the best bedside manner.  The second   radiologist that they consulted ran an MRI and CAT scan and thankfully, the   cancer is contained in the prostate; 6 1/2 weeks of radiation is what it will   require to combat it.  We definitely feel everyone's prayers, thanks for keeping   us lifted.    René has recovered from her flu and is slowly starting to heal from her UTI.  4   month's to go on her pregnancy!  She, Stan and Charlie are flying out tomorrow   for a 10 day trip to Michigan to visit Stan's 94-year old father (Stan Sr.) and   two sisters.  We ask for prayers for traveling graces to bring them their and   back home safely      As always, BLESSINGS to all!!    Marcus  

  
  
      
Prayer of Praise
    Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, he who in his great  mercy gave us new birth, a birth unto hope which draws its life from the  resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; a birth to an imperishable  inheritance, incapable of fading or defilement, which is kept in heaven for You  who are guarded with God's power through faith; a birth to a salvation which  stands ready to be revealed in the last days. Prayer for Healing
    Lord, look upon Al with eyes of mercy, may Your healing hand rest upon him,  may Your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the  depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength  for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
