This is from Lorna. Thank you for your continued prayers for Bernadette Aziz, and please add her husband and son to your prayers, too. God bless you and your family, Teri & Michael (see below)
Hello again Mike and Teri,
I am writing to ask for continued prayers for my friend and co-worker Bernadette
Aziz and her family. A group of us from work are on our way to pray with her at
her house during our lunch break. She has been on the prayer list for a while
due to dealing with stage 4 colon cancer. She had to retire from work a couple
of months ago and is now bed-ridden and very weak. Her husband also suffers from
heart problem. Recently her 24 year old son started to have chest pains and has
been taking his mother's deteriorating health.
Thanks,
Lorna

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place Bernadette & her family under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.
