Prayer Request from Cedric Joins for Elizabeth

This is from Cedric, St Agatha choir member. Please add his request for his friend's mother Elizabeth to you prayers for her peace and courage in preparation for a serious upcoming surgery on her hip replacement. May our Lord be with her to give her strength and healing, and the doctors be guided by the Holy Spirit for her successful surgery. Hi Michael & Teri,

Please send a request out to the Prayer Warriors for my friend's mother, Elizabeth. She had hip replacement surgery about a month ago and she just learned that they have to perform surgery again tomorrow because the top of her femur broke and the device slipped out of place. She is frightened and devastated about the prospect of going through this surgery again so soon. She had hoped that the surgery would bring some relief from her chronic pain in her hip and back. Pray that the Lord would give her the courage and the strength to endure what must be a very discouraging experience to say the least.

By the way, Elizabeth was on the staff of a children's choir that I performed and toured with from the time I was 9 years old until I graduated high school. We were always very fond of her and she still has a very special place in my heart.

Loving Father, we entrust Elizabeth to Your care; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in Your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, she may be restored to soundness of health and live in perfect harmony with You and with those around her. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.
