This is from Pam, and we are so glad that she is able to send this request. She went into the hospital at the urging of close friends, because her painful cellulitis infection was getting worse. Teri and I are still very glad that she is now back at home and continuing to heal. Please keep her brother Michael Terry in your prayers for employment. Dear Michael and Teri,
Thank you for including me in prayers recently. I am now home from the hospital for continued healing. Thank you all Prayer Warriors for your prayers, I couldn't have gotten through this without them. I'd like to give a special thank you too, Gloria, who scolded me into insisting to the doctors to put me in the hospital. To members from the St. Agatha's choir who phoned and texted me with their prayers and encouragement, especially Paula, and Christine, and a special Thank you to Mimi and Linda M., for coming to the hospital to bring me communion, prayers, the bulletin, and friendship, insisting on taking the risk even though I was in isolation. I am eternally grateful.
Today I am asking you my Prayer Warrior family to please pray for my brother Michael Terry. I'd recently ask for prayers for his job as they had cut his salary and didn't pay his bonus on a big sale. He alas has had to part with that company, but he is currently up for a new job. He has had several promising interviews, they will be making a decision by Labor Day.
Michael is infinitely qualified for this position, as it will use all the talents and contacts he has cultivated over 25 years of working. I am concerned that at 55 they may want to hire a younger person, as it has been very difficult for people in their mid fifties to find jobs during, and coming out of, this recession. Michael has a son, Brock, who is entering high School. This job would allow him to ultimately pay for Brock's college education and save for retirement. It will also put him in a territory that includes Los Angeles, so that he could look in on our aging parents a few times a year.
Please pray to our Mighty God to give him the eloquence of voice during any interviews he may still have, and make Michael the obvious and chosen choice, for this employer to hire.

God, our Father, I turn to You seeking Your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment. I need Your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents You have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to You with praise and thanksgiving for Your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

This is from Gloria. Please join us in lifting up Pam to our Lord once again for His healing and blessing. We know He loves us and also challenges us severely at times, but we must have FAITH that He will bring us through ALL trials and suffering and pain, as we do believe in Jesus Christ and all that He has commanded. Thank you so much for continuing prayers for Pam and her family, they are suffering, too, and for Pam to overcome this attack and be healed, recover and have a powerful testimony, witnessing for the Lord of His faithfulness and healing power. I want to ask the prayer warriors to continue praying for Pam Terry; she is still in the Hospital. She told me she now has MRSA. Let us pray that our Father in Heaven, the Greatest Healer of all, put His miracle hands over Pam's infection for swift and complete healing and also minimal pain.

O Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior. The same Lord that so loves His children as to lay His life down for them. The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day, and Ascended into Heaven. The same Lord that spoke the word and the Centurion's Servant was immediately healed. The same Lord that restored sight to the blind; cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame. The same Lord that with a word rebuked the seas and they were calm. The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead. The same Lord that has been given all power both in Heaven and on earth, do Thou, the same Lord visit and heal Thy servant, Pam Terry, from the afflictions that they are now suffering. Strengthen our faith like that of the Roman Centurion, so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith, trust, and hope that Thy servant, Pam Terry, will be healed in the same manner that the Centurion's servant was restored to health. O Holy physician of our souls and bodies, hear this fervent prayer for Thy servant, Pam Terry, and grant this request as we hold this, Thy servant up before Thy glorious Throne. She has now been admitted into the hospital because the healing is not progressing as it should. Dear Michael and Teri,
Please ask the Prayer Warriors to continue prayers for me. I went in for yet another appointment for my breast cellulitis infection and the doctors have decided to admit me in to the hospital, now.
The wound is nowhere near healing as much as they expected it to during this past week of bombarding me antibiotics.
Gloria and others say that the hospital is where I need to be, no matter how long. She kindly and with great concern explained to me how VERY SERIOUS this type of infection is, and wanted me to beg the doctors to hospitalize me. So this must be for the best, and the Lord is hearing our prayers, and watching over me. (Thank you Gloria for specifically knowing what to pray for on my behalf).

Strengthen them in body and soul, and bless their work, that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man, lived on this earth, healed the sick, and suffered and died on the Cross. Amen.
