Prayer Requests from Teresa Gunther: Prayers needed.....

Dear Michael and Teri,   I am sending this request for prayers for several folks in need.   Having our St. Agatha community praying for them is such a gift.   Thanks in advance to all who share this ministry.   I just spoke with a neighbor whose husband, Chuck, is now in hospice care at home and they are not expecting him to live much longer.    This wonderful couple has been married for 68 years!!!    We pray that he rests peacefully until our Lord call him home.   We are praying also for his wife, Dot.

I am also asking prayers for a friend who will be having difficult surgery in a couple of weeks for a hernia that he has ignored for several years.   His name is Bob and his wife is Adrian.    They have been friends of ours for many years.  And also needing prayers for a young man who is serving time in prison and hoping that his sentence might be reduced so he can return home to his family.   

Thank you all for the loving prayers you (we) will send to our Father.   You are a blessing to so many.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
