Praise Report! RE:Prayer Request from Pam Scudder for Amelia

This is wonderful news from our cousin, Pam Scudder. Praise God! Her friend's niece came through with flying colors, and we add our thanks to you for all your prayers for her. God bless you and your families and have a blessed New Year, Teri & Michael (see below)

Hi Michael and Teri,
I just wanted to forward this very happy update about  Amelia from her aunt Laura who has asked me to thank all of the awesome Prayer Warriors for keeping Amelia in their prayers!  Laura's comments are below.
Hope that your Christmas was wonderful and that you will enjoy a great new year!  Thanks so much to both of you for all that you do to help others!
Have a blessed and very happy new year!
Love,
Pam

Amelia is doing very well!  Thanks.  Matthew said it's as if she never had surgery.  She is bored and wants to do more.  She was home on the 23rd (amazing) so they all had a happy relaxing Christmas at home.  She has a follow up appointment this week with the surgeon and then maybe get the ok to go back to school.
She was a trooper and pretty much lead the adults through this.

Subject: Prayer Request
Hi Michael,
I have a prayer request for the niece of my co-worker.  Her niece's name is Amelia and she is 9 years old.  A few weeks ago Amelia's parents took her for a routine check up and the doctor detected a heart murmur.  After doing more extensive testing they discovered that Amelia has a hole in her heart.  Tomorrow morning at 8:00 (CST) Amelia is going to undergo heart surgery at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago to repair her damaged heart.  Michael, please contact our faithful Prayer Warriors and request a flurry of prayers for this little girl and for her surgeons, nurses and other medical staff members to be guided by God to do their best work and ensure that Amelia will have a successful surgery so that she can enjoy a healthy life.
As always, thanks to you and Teri for all that you do in your wonderful ministry!
Best wishes to you and your family for a blessed Christmas and a bright, healthy and happy new year!
Love,
Pam

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
O God, of Whose mercies there is no number, and of Whose goodness the treasure is infinite; we render thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon us, evermore beseeching Your clemency, that as You grant the petitions of them that ask You, You will never forsake them, but will prepare for the reward to come. Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
