Prayer Request from June: Prayers heard and needed

Prayer Request from June. again from her very spiritual sister-in-law, Patty,  who lives in a faith based community in Omaha, NE. Thank you for your prayers and God bless you, Teri & Michael (see below)

In a message dated 1/5/2013 1:30:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time:

Dear Ones, my friend, Barb, opened her eyes once and squeezed her husband's hand.  We praise God for the work of his hand and ask that he continue

his healing in Barb.  We ask the Lord to be glorified in Barb.

 

My beautiful stepmother, Laura, came through surgery after her fall yesterday. . She has a pin in her hip and will go to a rehabilitation center next week. Please continue to pray

for her.

 

Beth has a friend whose 6 week baby boy is deathly ill. The doctors suspect cystic fibrosis.  This little guy sure .needs a miracle.

 

Another request for prayer came in::  A six year old boy has an inoperable brain tumor.  All things are possible with God!!!!!!! 

 

Thanks for your prayers and your faith. This is the year of Faith.  We are sure being called to exercise our faith in praying for others.

PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & HEALING

Heavenly Father, I trust in Your great love for me and all Your people. I ask You to unleash a wave of miracles and healing throughout Your church through the prayers of Your people. Touch the sick and the suffering, and restore them to wholeness and well­-being. Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to pray with expectant faith for my brothers and sisters who are hurting and in need of Your healing touch. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to see the kingdom of God all around me. Help me to recognize Your presence and Your work in the people I meet, and to be responsive to people I encounter that are in need of prayer.  In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
